Jennifer Mesick Jennifer is the proud mother of six internationally adopted children. She was introduced to The Red Thread while adopting her youngest children, as Jennifer Lane was her case manager. Jennifer became intrigued with The Red Thread and with the possibility of helping orphans. As three of her children are considered "special needs", she is keenly aware of what assistance is available to the children here in the United States and is passionate about getting help to those children who do not have anyone to advocate for them. Jennifer's role is to assist in facilitating the paperwork and necessary arrangements involved with bringing the children to the states and arranging their medical help. She would also like to introduce more families in the adoption community to The Red Thread.

Sonya Yencer Sonya is a stay-at-home-mother of two, school board member and independent business woman. She opened her own graphic design firm, Ydesign Studio, in 1998. Ydesign primarily creates print collateral (including logos, letterhead, brochures, annual reports, invitations, posters, trade show booths) for a variety of national and international clientele. When she heard about The Red Thread from long-time client, Kathy Korge Albergate, she was quickly drawn into the organization. Having multiple adopted family members, Sonya states "I have received the blessings that these individuals have brought to my family. I would like to extend blessings and help to other orphans and children, both near and far."
